"I worked with Pennie for the first time this week – and it won’t be the last! Pennie is a pleasure to work with – organised, efficient and professional. When required, she directed and guided staff and students well – and made the most of every photograph opportunity – seeing things that I would have missed. I received the images within two days and now have over 400 new images to use in my marketing. If you have a good plan of what you want to achieve within the time you have – Pennie will do her utmost to ensure your objectives are met."
Claire Young, Head of Marketing and Development. St John’s College.

"Wow, wow, wow!!! They are by far the best set of photos we have ever had! GORGEOUS nursery pictures, wonderful outdoor classroom ones, amazing ones of the little boy in DT using a very grown up piece of equipment. Well done! I am so excited about them and can’t wait to look at them again more closely.

"Pennie has worked for me on several occasions and I have been delighted with the results each time. Her marketing background means that she grasps a corporate brief well and her photos have really reflected the required brand values. I am always impressed by her attention to detail, relaxed manner and quick turnaround time."

"It has been a pleasure working with Pennie. She had a brilliant rapport with the boys on the day and we have been delighted not just with the images, but with her support in adjusting them to fit our website too."

COMMERCIAL

"As an editor, I’ve had many years’ experience booking photographers and attending photo shoots, so when I saw Pennie’s website I knew I’d found a top performer. Pennie’s great at putting people at ease (including the photo-shy client I had with me on the day) and flexible enough to change tack when needed. The images created were just what I was looking for - professional but creative. I can’t recommend her enough."

"As a new business it was important for us to convey a professional image from the start. Taking photographs of what we do on a daily basis is difficult and unpredictable, however Pennie captured the essence of who we are with ease. We were incredibly pleased with Pennie's work, nothing looked staged and there were elements that even surprised us. Pennie comes highly recommended - polite, professional and competitively priced. In essence a must for any business requiring a natural looking set of images for any type of media."

"Pennie volunteered to come and photograph our hospice in order to update our image library. She took photos across our InPatient Unit, Day Hospice, Sales area, building and groups creating beautiful images that we will be able to use for our website, marketing materials and in and around the hospice. On top of this, Pennie photographed all the staff for the photo boards and took casual pictures of staff, patients and volunteers at work. If you are looking for a photographer who shoots in a natural style, creating beautiful images then you can not do better than Pennie. She is friendly and a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend her."

"At the Alzheimer’s Society’s magazine, we rely on photographers having a genuine interest in the people they’re taking pictures of, and on them being able to help people feel at ease in front of the camera. We got a range of touching and engaging shots back from Pennie that were perfect for the article and which the couple being featured were really happy with."

"I had some headshot pictures taken by Pennie last week. I am so very pleased with the results. It is very easy working with Pennie, she puts you at ease, gets lots of great shots and then you can choose your favourite(s). I would highly recommend using Pennie and I love my new photos."

"I asked Pennie to photograph me with a view to updating my social media profile picture. Nothing was too much trouble. Pennie fitted in with my busy work schedule, travelled to one of my client locations for the perfect backdrop, was patient, made me feel very comfortable and worked hard to ensure the lighting was perfect in what was a challenging setting where nature played a role with wind, rain and sunshine. I am delighted with the end result and have already given her more business as a result. I would not hesitate to recommend Pennie Withers."

"Initially a little apprehensive, I ended up really enjoying my outdoor headshot session with Pennie. She acts quickly and professionally, choosing the ideal position for the subject in the setting, effortlessly adjusting lenses and shutter speeds and reflective panels to get things just right with the minimum of fuss. What impressed me most was how Pennie got me relaxed and smiling naturally very quickly, and I am delighted with the end results."

"Pennie came recommended to me by a colleague who suggested I needed photographs to enhance my website and promotional material. As a reluctant model, the whole idea filled me with dread but Pennie was very professional from the outset and put me at ease within moments of arriving. I really feel that she understood what I was trying to achieve through the photographic images and the end results are fabulous. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pennie Withers."

EVENTS

"As one of the organisers of the Twenties Club, a senior level networking forum, we were looking for a photographer to capture one of our events at Fredricks Hotel in Maidenhead. Our speaker was The Home Secretary, Theresa May. Pennie came along and took a series of fantastic natural, reportage style photographs, which really captured the essence of the event. She blended into the background and got great images of the speakers and the guests.

Pennie was also able to work on the hoof when we asked her very quickly to take some group photographs before Theresa May had to leave. An online gallery of photographs was shared with all the key members of the group within 24 hours. Thank you Pennie – great job!"
